Why one campaign per keyword
With a single keyword per campaign, each keyword gets its own budget: an expensive keyword can't eat into the budget of the others, and the campaign report is already that keyword's result. It's a common structure for a product's most important keywords, but building dozens of campaigns one by one in the Amazon Ads console takes time. Batch mode does it all at once.
Where to find it
In the app, open the account and go to Bulk actions → Create tab. In the Mode field, choose One campaign per keyword (batch).
Step by step
- Product: pick the product by ASIN, SKU or name. Every campaign in the batch advertises that product.
- Batch default: set what applies to any row left blank: match type (exact, phrase or broad), bid, daily budget per campaign, bidding strategy, placement adjustments (top of search, rest of search and product pages), start and end dates. You can also change the naming template (with the {palavra} keyword, {match}, {produto} product, {sku} and {asin} tokens) and create a new portfolio to group the campaigns.
- Keywords: paste one keyword per line, or use the format keyword; match type; bid; budget. Or import a CSV or XLSX spreadsheet with keyword, match type, bid and budget columns (the Download template button gives you an example). The same keyword can go in with different match types: each one becomes its own campaign.
- Review each campaign: every row in the table is one campaign. Change anything you want on that row only; a blank field uses the batch default.
- See preview: the Preview column shows Will create, Skipped or Error, with the reason.
- Create: confirm the run. Campaigns are created live, in blocks of up to 20, and at the end the Result column shows each campaign as Created or Failed.
stainless steel water bottle; exact; 0.85; 15That line creates the campaign stainless steel water bottle in exact match, with a US$0.85 bid and a US$15 daily budget. Everything else follows the batch default.
What the preview skips
- A keyword repeated in the list with the same match type: it becomes a single campaign.
- A keyword already live on the product, as a keyword in an active campaign with the same match type: it's left out so you don't compete against yourself.
- A row with an error, such as a bid below US$0.02 or a daily budget below US$1: it shows up with the reason and isn't created.
A batch takes up to 500 rows. The changes go straight to your Amazon Ads account and are logged in the Bulk actions History and in the account's change log.
