A complete supplier record that feeds your true product cost.

Suppliers keeps the company, tax, commercial and logistics details of every supplier in one place — and links each product's primary supplier straight to its cost (COGS), converted by purchase currency and exchange rate, with no separate spreadsheet to keep in sync.

What it is and who it's for

Each supplier has a record organized in tabs: Company (legal name, trade name, tax ID type and number, such as an EIN, supplier type, state, country, status, a 0–10 rating and full address), Tax (the supplier's tax settings), Commercial, Logistics (production and transit lead time in days, with the total lead time already added up), plus Contacts and Management.

Next to it, the Purchases tab records each supplier's invoices so you can compare prices across them. It's built for sellers who buy from several suppliers or manufacturers and need that data — especially lead times — organized and connected to product cost, instead of scattered across spreadsheets and emails.

The problem it solves

Supplier data usually lives in loose spreadsheets, emails or the buyer's head — terms, production time, shipping time. Without it organized and linked to the product, calculating the right landed cost, knowing when to reorder based on real lead time and comparing prices across suppliers stays manual and error-prone.

How it works

🏢

Company and tax details

Legal name, tax ID, address and tax settings — all in a single form per supplier.

🚚

Logistics lead time

Production and transit lead time in days, added up automatically into total lead time, so you can plan reorders.

🔗

Linked to the product

Each ASIN's primary supplier feeds the product cost (COGS), with purchase currency and exchange rate already applied.

🧾

Purchases and price comparison

Record purchase invoices in the Purchases tab and compare what you paid across suppliers and over time.

Example

You add a new supplier for an imported product: enter the legal name and tax ID in the Company tab, and set 15 days of production and 7 days of transit in the Logistics tab — the system adds up the total lead time for you. Then you link that supplier as the ASIN's primary supplier, and the product cost starts reflecting what you pay them, converted at the exchange rate of the purchase currency.

Integrations and data used

Costs and Products

Each ASIN's primary supplier feeds the unit cost (COGS) used to calculate margin and true profit.

Exchange rate

Purchases in a foreign currency are converted to your account currency at the current exchange rate, with the option to lock the rate at payment.

Purchases (invoices)

Invoices logged in the Purchases tab build each supplier's price history for comparison.

Read-only on Amazon

Supplier records are your own data, typed or imported by you — they don't change anything in your Amazon Ads or Seller Central account.

🛡️

Isolated per account

Each tenant only sees and edits its own suppliers — no data is accessible to any other EcomVision customer.

Suppliers vs. your own spreadsheet

Your own spreadsheet

Tax details and lead times scattered across tabs or separate files, with no automatic link to product cost.

In Suppliers

One record per supplier, linked to the ASIN, feeding product cost (COGS) and reorder lead time automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Do supplier records feed the product cost automatically?

Yes. The primary supplier linked to an ASIN feeds the product's unit cost (COGS), converted by purchase currency and exchange rate — no need to re-enter the cost anywhere else.

What data does a supplier record cover?

Six tabs: Company (legal name, tax ID, address, state, country, status, rating), Tax (tax settings for the supplier), Commercial, Logistics (production and transit lead time, with the total lead time calculated), Contacts and Management.

Can I log purchases from each supplier?

Yes, in the Purchases tab — next to Suppliers on the same screen — to record purchase invoices and compare prices across them.

Can I import suppliers in bulk?

Yes. The Suppliers screen has an import button, in addition to adding suppliers one by one through the full form.
