What it is and who it's for

You'll find it under Competitive → Product Research. Three modes: Simple search, Find sellers and Advanced filters. Built for sellers looking for a private label product or wanting to understand a market before entering it.

The Product Validation mode tests an idea that doesn't exist yet: you describe the product, the price and the cost, and you get similar competitors, market concentration, margin with Amazon's real fees, the maximum supplier cost and a verdict. Meet Product Validation →

Alongside it, Niche Analysis works the other way around: it starts from a keyword, ASIN or link and analyzes that sample of products — market size, sellers, prices and how BSR, price and offer count have changed.

The problem it solves

Finding products by browsing Amazon search shows you what's already obvious to everyone. What matters is what sells well and still has little competition, few reviews or no Amazon presence — and that only shows up when you cross filters across thousands of products. Product Research does that cross-check and ranks by Score.

How it works

🧭

Market filters

Up to 3 categories with subcategories, sales from 50 to 15,000 per month, price range, reviews, with or without Amazon on the listing, branded or generic, FBA or FBM, with or without variations.

🎛️

Advanced filters

Maximum sales, minimum revenue, term in title, minimum reviews, number of sellers, rating, maximum BSR, weight, listing age, A+ Content and seller ID.

⚡

Ready-made strategies

High demand (200+ sales/month), Low competition (50+ sales and up to 5 sellers), New products (up to 6 months old) and Few reviews (100+ sales and up to 200 reviews).

💯

Opportunity Score

From 0 to 100: it weighs demand (40), low competition (25), few reviews (20) and price point (15), and discounts products with an entrenched leader.

Niche Analysis: an X-ray of a market

In Niche Analysis you type a keyword, an ASIN or a link and get the real sample for that niche, up to 40 products per analysis (with "Load more" for the next batch): market size, units sold per month, share by seller, price distribution and the niche's keywords.

The Product history chart shows BSR, price and offer count over 30 or 90 days, with current, average, minimum, maximum and change. The Bulk spreadsheet analyzes up to 500 ASINs, EANs or UPCs at once, with margin, ROI and viability under FBA and FBM.

What's an estimate

Monthly sales and revenue are estimates — Amazon doesn't publish anyone's sales. The BSR chart is an activity index, not visits or daily sales. And coverage in Brazil is smaller than in the US: when few products pass the filters, the screen tells you.

Example

You're looking for a private label product. You pick the category, apply the Few reviews strategy and remove listings where Amazon is a seller. You sort by Score and find an item with 400 sales per month, 90 reviews and 3 sellers. You open Niche Analysis with its main keyword and see that most of the niche isn't on FBA — an entry with Prime has an edge.

Frequently asked questions

What is Product Research?

It's EcomVision's product research tool: it filters Amazon US and Brazil products by category, monthly sales, price, reviews, number of sellers and Amazon's presence, and gives each one an Opportunity Score from 0 to 100.

Does it work for Amazon US?

Yes. Product Research and Niche Analysis work for Amazon US and Amazon Brazil.

Are the sales numbers real?

They're estimates. Amazon doesn't publish any seller's sales; the number is estimated from the product's history.

What's the difference between Product Research and Niche Analysis?

Product Research searches the catalog by filters and categories. Niche Analysis starts from a keyword, ASIN or link and analyzes that niche: size, sellers, prices and how BSR, price and offer count have changed.

How many products does each search return?

Up to 100 per search in Product Research and up to 40 per analysis in Niche Analysis, with the option to load the next batch.
