Defend the Buy Box, find opportunities, watch the market.

Competitive Intelligence brings six market intelligence tools into one screen: Buy Box (who is winning on each of your products), Niche Analysis and Product Research (find your next product), Market by Category (the market size and brands of each of your subcategories), Competitor Keywords (the keywords they use in their ads) and Competitor Tracking (a daily price and Buy Box watchlist).

What it is and who it's for

It lives under Intelligence → Competitive in the menu, with six tabs: Buy Box (a summary of how many products you hold/lost the Buy Box on, ad spend at risk and the product-by-product table), Niche Analysis (one-off search by keyword, ASIN or URL, or in bulk via spreadsheet), Product Research (filter-based hunting across the whole catalog, Black Box style), Market by Category (a report on each of your products' subcategories: monthly sales, dominant brands and where you stand), Competitor Keywords (the keywords an ASIN uses in Sponsored Products) and Competitor Tracking (a daily watchlist of price, Buy Box, reviews and BSR for up to 20 competitor ASINs).

It's for sellers who need to defend margin when a competitor takes the Buy Box, find the next product for their catalog with market data, and keep an eye on what competitors are doing — price, offers and keywords — without opening ten different tools.

The problem it solves

Losing the Buy Box silently pauses the ads for that product — and without monitoring, nobody notices until revenue drops. Finding the next product or understanding a competitor's keyword strategy, on the other hand, usually takes separate paid tools and manual spreadsheets to cross-reference the data.

How it works

🏷️

Buy Box

How many products you hold/lost the Buy Box on, ad spend at risk, and a table with your price vs. the competitor's, with a shortcut to automate pricing.

⛏️

Niche Analysis

Search by keyword, ASIN or URL (or in bulk, up to 50 per spreadsheet), with niche KPIs, a term cloud and top sellers.

🔍

Product Research

Filter-based hunting (price, sales, reviews, BSR, category) across the whole catalog, with an Opportunity Score.

🔑

Competitor Keywords

Enter an ASIN and see the keywords it uses in Sponsored Products, with low, average and high bids.

📡

Competitor Tracking

A daily watchlist of up to 20 competitor ASINs — price, Buy Box, reviews and BSR, with history and an alert when something changes.

🌐

Find supplier

From a Niche Analysis product (or a term you type), pick the region — China, Brazil or USA — and go straight to the right searches (Alibaba, 1688, Made-in-China, Global Sources, AliExpress, or by image), with the term already filled in.

Example

You open the Buy Box tab and see 2 products losing to a competitor, with $185.40 in ad spend at risk. You fix the price on one of them right from the automate-pricing shortcut. Then you go to Competitor Tracking and add the ASIN of the seller who took the Buy Box, to see whether they keep the aggressive price over the next few days.

Integrations and data used

Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API)

Buy Box, offers, price and listing data for your products and the competitors you track.

EcomVision market intelligence

Controls and security

🔒

Read-only, with one optional shortcut

Competitive Intelligence is read-only — the only write is the "Automate pricing" shortcut, which takes you to Amazon's own Automate Pricing rule, outside EcomVision.

🛡️

Isolated per account

Each tenant only sees its own products and its own competitor watchlist — no data is accessible to any other EcomVision customer.

Competitive Intelligence vs. separate tools

Separate tools

One tool for product research, another for competitor keywords, a manual spreadsheet to track prices — none of it cross-referenced with what you already sell.

With Competitive Intelligence

Buy Box, product hunting, discovery, keywords and tracking in one place, already cross-referenced with your catalog and your Amazon Ads account.

Frequently asked questions

What's inside Competitive Intelligence?

Five tabs: Buy Box (who is winning the Buy Box on each of your products), Niche Analysis (search by keyword, ASIN or URL with niche KPIs), Product Research (filter-based product hunting, Black Box style), Competitor Keywords (the keywords a competitor ASIN uses in its ads) and Competitor Tracking (a daily watchlist of competitor price, Buy Box and reviews).

What happens when I lose the Buy Box?

Without the Buy Box, Amazon automatically pauses Sponsored Products ads for that ASIN. The Buy Box tab shows the ad spend at risk on those products and a shortcut to automate pricing with Amazon's own Automate Pricing.

Are Product Research and Niche Analysis the same thing?

No. Niche Analysis searches a specific keyword, ASIN or URL (or in bulk, via spreadsheet). Product Research scans the whole catalog by filters — price, monthly sales, reviews, BSR, category — and calculates an Opportunity Score that combines high demand with low competition, Black Box style.

How does Competitor Tracking work?

You add your competitors' ASINs (up to 20) and the platform records one reading per day of price, Buy Box, reviews, BSR and availability — with history, change and a bell alert when something changes.
