The golden rule: keep AI in "recommend" mode

Before any prompt, make one safety decision: don't give AI full autonomous control over your account. Keep everything in recommend mode — the AI diagnoses and suggests, and you are the sanity check that approves. Giving an automation free rein over Seller Central is a recipe for chaos. That is exactly the philosophy behind Vision, EcomVision's AI: it reads your account's real data (through the SP-API and the Amazon Ads API, with your authorization), shows what to do and the impact in dollars — and execution stays under your command. To dig into what an AI can (and can't) execute in an Amazon account, see also this article on the Agent Policy.

The 7 agentic AI uses — and how EcomVision handles each one

1. Conversion fixer (search funnel)

The idea: analyze the ratios between impressions, clicks, add-to-carts and purchases for an ASIN, find the exact point where the funnel leaks and propose fixes. In EcomVision this is the Shopper Funnel: it reads Amazon's Search Query Performance and shows, stage by stage, where you lose the sale — from impression to purchase — so you act where the hole really is.

2. Lead-time forecaster (FBA replenishment)

Instead of guessing when the order needs to go to the factory, EcomVision crosses real sell-through with available inventory and the lead time you entered, and warns you before you stock out — because without inventory, Amazon stops showing the ad and you stop selling. In the demo account, for example, the app flags a product whose inventory will run out at the current sell-through rate and estimates the sales you avoid losing by restocking in time.

3. Sentiment mining (reviews) — on the roadmap

Reading 100 reviews and pulling out the top 3 strengths, the top 3 weaknesses and the feature gaps (what customers wanted and didn't find) is one of the most powerful uses — and it depends on ingesting review text. It's on our roadmap, connected to Voice of the Customer: recurring weaknesses become input for bullets and A+ content in the Listing Optimizer.

4. Price watch

Tracking price trends on your best sellers and flagging moves is part of EcomVision's Buy Box monitoring and Monitors — which watch price, Buy Box and availability and alert you when something changes.

5. PPC leak detector

The classic: review campaigns, sort by ACoS, find the ones above your ceiling and cut the waste. EcomVision does this in the Ad Spend Leak Finder and in Campaigns — already done for you: it lists campaigns above target, search terms that spend without selling and, above all, checks them against the product's break-even to tell you whether that ad-driven sale makes or loses money.

6. Catalog sentinel

Every day, flag suppressions, inactive products and items advertised without inventory (which burn budget). EcomVision runs a daily listing scan and surfaces these alerts in the account summary — including the "product advertised with no buyable inventory" case, which the AI points out so you can pause the ad or restock.

7. Rating alarm — on the roadmap

Alert you when an ASIN drops below a star-rating threshold and summarize the negative reviews with an action plan. It depends on the same review ingestion as item 3 and is on the roadmap, built on the same alert mechanism we already use today.

The EcomVision difference: real profit, not just ACoS

Here's what separates EcomVision from a generic copilot. Most tools (including Seller Assistant's default view of advertising) reason on ACoS. EcomVision reasons on net profit — after COGS, taxes, Amazon fees and ads. The difference is concrete: in the demo account, an analysis flagged a product selling at a −55.9% margin — meaning every sale increased the loss, even with an ACoS that looked acceptable. No ACoS-only view catches that.

And the AI doesn't just point out the problem: it prioritizes by dollar impact. In the same account, the Priority Center consolidated 8 opportunities — from budget to cut to the product in the red, to the best seller that earns well on its own and deserves to be scaled.
