What the AI extracts from your reviews
For each advertised product, Voice of the Customer reads the review text and returns a structured reading — not a vague summary, but themes you can act on:
- Overall sentiment (positive, mixed or negative).
- Strengths — the most repeated praise (what to protect in your copy).
- Weaknesses — the complaints, each with a severity (what to fix first).
- Product gaps — improvements and features shoppers asked for that the product doesn't deliver yet.
- Listing vs. reality mismatch — when what the page promises doesn't match what reviews report (a classic cause of returns and low ratings).
Each theme comes with a real review excerpt as evidence — true to the EcomVision method: no claim without the data behind it.
Proactive reputation alarm
Reputation is lost slowly, then all at once. That's why monitoring can't depend on someone remembering to check. EcomVision has two layers:
- Rating monitor — the seller sets a threshold per product (e.g., 4.5★) and gets an alert when the rating crosses that line.
- Proactive daily alarm — automatically, when a product's reviews indicate risk (negative sentiment or a critical complaint), it's added to the daily summary sent to the team — with nothing to configure.
That way the problem comes to you, instead of waiting for you to go looking for it.
In Vision, in one click
Vision, EcomVision's AI, now has a “Reputation at risk” shortcut: one click and it lists the products whose reviews need attention — critical ones first, each with its main complaint and a link to adjust the listing. It's the same principle as Vision's other shortcuts: the AI recommends, you decide.
Why this turns into sales
A higher rating converts more of the same traffic — so working on reputation grows sales without spending more on ads. And the gain is twofold: the weaknesses the AI flags become a product-fix agenda, and the gaps and mismatches become a listing-rewrite agenda (bullets and A+) — closing the loop between what customers say and what your page promises.
This release covers two of the agentic AI uses Amazon validated for sellers — sentiment mining and the rating alarm. See the full picture in 7 agentic AI uses on Amazon (and how EcomVision already does them).
