Where to find it

In the app, open the Listing Optimizer → AI Listing Builder → pick the product and click Generate. The path is the same as before: what changed is the method behind the copy.

Keywords in tiers

Before writing, the Listing Builder puts together a keyword plan in three tiers:

  • Tier 1: searches that already sell. Terms from your Sponsored ads and Brand Analytics that drove orders. The top-selling search goes in the title.
  • Tier 2: other real searches for your product, which go into the bullets and description.
  • Tier 3: competitors and catalog, to cover the category's vocabulary.

Nonsense terms are left out: phrase fragments cut from a title (like "8 oz reduces"), repeated words and review themes that aren't product searches (like "fast shipping").

Risky terms in the backend only

Some words get a lot of searches but become prohibited claims when they appear in copy the shopper reads. A pet example: "calming treats for dogs." Listing Builder v2 uses a list of risky terms by category (general, supplements, pet and beauty) and sends those terms to the backend search terms only, where they help with indexing without promising anything on the page. Terms that are prohibited in every category don't go anywhere.

In the on-screen keyword list, terms that stayed in the backend only are flagged as risky, so you know why they aren't in the title.

Your current listing as a source of facts

The copy your product already has on Amazon is still read, but now as a source of facts (dimensions, material, what's in the box), not of promises. If the old listing had an exaggerated claim, it isn't copied into the new one.

Product data also comes through in full. Before, when there was a lot of material, voice-of-the-customer and market data could get cut off at the end. Now, if anything needs trimming, only the old listing is shortened. And notes like "Used voice of the customer" only show up when that data actually went into the generation.

Checks before delivery

After writing, the Listing Builder checks its own copy:

What it checksRule
Titleup to 75 characters, no commas, includes the top-selling search
Bulletslist format, one benefit per bullet
Prohibited termsnone in the visible copy or the backend

If something fails, it fixes it automatically once before showing you the result.

Background generation

The new method thinks more before writing, so generation takes about 1 to 2 minutes. It runs in the background: the screen tracks progress and shows the listing when it's ready, with no timeouts. Then you just review and publish, as before.

Action plan

1. Generate→ 2. Review→ 3. Publish→ 4. Measure
  1. Generate: start with your best sellers or with products that get lots of sessions but convert poorly.
  2. Review: check dimensions, material and what's in the box against the real product, and see which terms went to the backend only.
  3. Publish: publish right from the Listing Builder and note the date.
  4. Measure: compare the 14 days before with the 14 days after: sessions, conversion rate and rank for your tier 1 searches. Keep in mind that price, inventory, seasonality and campaigns also move these numbers.

To measure, the Shopper Funnel shows sessions and conversion by product.
